We place great emphasis on keeping wood in Slovenia.
Therefore, we strive for cooperation with Slovenian companies. We are particularly proud and pleased to use our program of sleepers production to build Slovenian railways.
In 2017 we took part in the project of Slovenian railways with the supply of bridge-sleepers, produced in the company Montpreis, which have been bulit-in at the reconstruction of the railway track Celje-Zidani Most (see the above photo).
The first phase of the work begins already in the preparation of healthy logs, which are then being cutted in order to obtain an appropriate bridge sleeper.
When a certain quantity is prepared, a professional inspection is performed before the takeover, in which the quality of the bridge sleepers is being checked.
After they are being delivered to the customer and before they become a part of the railway infrastructure, they are also waiting for the processes of maturation and impregnation.
We hope to get even more similar opportunities for the long-term presence in Slovenia’s development.
